Green and snow-white valleys, high alpine peaks, bubbling streams and waterfalls - the Klostertal valley is a true gem for nature lovers. The villages of Braz, Dalaas/Wald and Klösterle are located between the alpine town of Bludenz and the famous Arlberg ski resort.
The summer programme includes hiking, climbing and mountaineering. The steep ridges and peaks offer many opportunities for sporting explorations. Families spend and adventure day in the Bärenland (bearland) and on the Sonnenkopf peak or go hiking on interesting theme trails. For cyclists and mountain bikers there are numerous different routes at all altitudes. In addition to classic mountain sports, the Klostertal offers archery, horseback riding, golf and lama hiking. Who could still be bored?
No sportsman’s wish remains unfulfilled this winter. The Sonnenkopf peak is a giant playground for snow lovers - made of pure natural snow. The slopes are equally appreciated by skiers, tobogganists and winter hikers. Even ski-tourers and deep-snow lovers don’t miss out. Quite a few free-riders have lost their hearts to the spectacular descent into the Nenzigast valley. And for those for whom 36.5 km of pistes is not enough, the Arlberg is the ideal place to go. Austria’s largest ski resort offers new dimensions of skiing pleasure.
